Getting to Know You: First Session Our first session is a friendly, low‑pressure conversation designed to help families feel supported from the very beginning. During this 20–30 minute meeting, I meet with both the parent and the child to learn about their goals, interests, and learning needs. This is not a lesson—it’s a chance for us to connect, explore what works best for your child, and begin shaping a personalized learning plan. What We’ll Talk About - Your child’s strengths, challenges, and learning preferences - Past experiences with language learning or schoolwork - Your goals as a parent and your child’s personal goals - Scheduling, communication preferences, and any accommodations - Activities your child enjoys (games, stories, visuals, hands‑on tasks) Why It Matters Every learner is unique. This session helps ensure that lessons are engaging, comfortable, and tailored to your child’s personality and needs. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how tutoring works at eTutor Nest and what the next steps look like.
